Honey Duck Breast

Duck breast cooked with honey and balsamic vinegar. Best served with a glass of red wine!
Ingredients
- 2 duck breasts
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Score the fat of the duck into a cross-hatch pattern, without cutting the meat
- Cook the duck in a pan, starting with the skin side. (Cook around 5 minutes on each side for medium rare cooking)
- Keep the duck breasts in a warm plate (cover with aluminium foil)
- Add the balsamic vinegar and honey to the pan. Do not boil, otherwise the sause would turn to caramel. Add pepper
