Honey Duck Breast

Duck breast cooked with honey and balsamic vinegar. Best served with a glass of red wine!

Ingredients

  • 2 duck breasts
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Score the fat of the duck into a cross-hatch pattern, without cutting the meat
  2. Cook the duck in a pan, starting with the skin side. (Cook around 5 minutes on each side for medium rare cooking)
  3. Keep the duck breasts in a warm plate (cover with aluminium foil)
  4. Add the balsamic vinegar and honey to the pan. Do not boil, otherwise the sause would turn to caramel. Add pepper
